Having served twenty-three years at Donaldson, eight of which were on death row, Grady believes that freedom is within his reach.  The Vipassana prison movement frequently refers to freedom behind bars.  While still honoring his commitment to the inner-peace that Vipassana offers, Grady is working toward the fulfillment of his dream of freedom without bars.

It is Grady’s belief that after twenty-three years without a single disciplinary action and years of commendable service to the Donaldson community, his sentence warrants re-consideration. 

Grady very much wants to continue his life of service to others as a free man - in a community that is not behind bars. Serving additional time will not benefit anyone, most of all Grady. He can and wants to be a productive member of society.

Any size donation will be greatly appreciated.  All contributions, large or small, will be used for sentence appeals and legal defense expenses.

Grady needs your help. He has no personal or family resources to fund his appeals. This web site is a supporter’s gift; a way for Grady to have a “voice” in the free world. No contributions have or will be used to finance or promote this web site. Grady has not had any legal representation for over fifteen years and needs you to add your voice and contributions to this effort.
